that was crazy that the sochi's got a threat by the terrorists.
The article that links to the comment is very interesting about the threats they received. If you click on the hyperlink it leads you to the full story. There was additional information about how the threats came after "authorities clamped down on suspected Islamic militants in the region surrounding Sochi."
Didn't they give all the Olympic competitors an email that the terrorist were coming
The e-mails were sent to the Olympic Officials. So those in charge of preparing for the Olympics. A number of countries were sent those e-mails. I don't think it went to the individual competitors.
What? When was that? What did they say they were going to do?
I won't be going to the Olympics for a while.
Oops. That comment was suppose to be for the comment about terrorists. My bad.
When does the whole process start for choosing the location of the Winter Olympics?
"Sochi was elected on 4 July 2007 during the 119th International Olympic Committee (IOC) session held in Guatemala City, Guatemala"
Thanks for getting specific about which July they decided on who will host the next Winter Olympics. That's a big difference knowing now that is was July 2007. Time was needed for Sochi to build and prepare for this years Olympics!

Not sure but I'm guessing just use more environment friendly things
Well i read that just putting the Olympics in to the wilderness that it will help the environment. But also they have you make new roads and new hotels so on there idea of being green hasn't gone so well.
Sochi will also be a host city for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Very interesting. Another fact I didn't know. Makes sense for them to host another big event since they spent all that money to set up for the Olympics. They should be set for the World Cup in 4 years.

A video posted on a well-known Jihadi forum website threatens visitors to the upcoming Olympics.
I think anyone could do it, if they kept their mind to it , and didn't give up .
Thats so truee!
Two men, believed to be suicide bombers who died in December 2013, say, "We've prepared a present for you and all tourists who'll come over. If you will hold the Olympics, you'll get a present from us for the Muslim blood that's been spilled."
